About Dropouts

Dropouts is a new-age clothing brand built around the idea of stepping away from the mainstream and the crowd. We are looking for a creative Graphic Designer & Video Editor who can help us develop distinctive visual designs for our T-shirts and build a strong visual identity for the brand.

Role Overview

The primary responsibility will be to create original and commercially usable T-shirt graphics, artwork, typography, illustrations, and design concepts that fit the brand’s identity.

The role will also involve creating and editing visual content for our social media platforms, including Reels, promotional videos, product launches, and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Design original and creative T-shirt graphics and prints.

• Develop typography-based designs, illustrations, graphics, symbols, and visual concepts.

• Create designs based on creative briefs and brand concepts.

• Explore different design styles while maintaining a consistent brand identity.

• Prepare artwork in appropriate formats for T-shirt printing and production.

• Create mockups and presentation-ready apparel designs.

• Develop graphics for Instagram posts, Stories, Reels, advertisements, and campaigns.

• Edit short-form videos and Reels for social media.

• Create promotional and product-launch content.

• Collaborate with the brand team to develop new creative concepts.

• Make revisions based on feedback and ensure designs are production-ready.

Requirements

• Experience in apparel/fashion graphic design is preferred.

• Strong understanding of typography, composition, illustration, and visual storytelling.

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or equivalent design software.

• Knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar video-editing software.

• Ability to create original designs rather than relying heavily on templates.

• Understanding of T-shirt printing methods and preparing artwork for production is an advantage.

• Good understanding of current fashion and social media design trends.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Ability to work within deadlines and incorporate feedback.

• Portfolio is mandatory. Candidates should submit examples of T-shirt/apparel designs along with graphic design and video-editing work.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is creative, experimental, and has a strong visual sense. Someone who can take a concept or rough idea and turn it into a design that feels distinctive and wearable.

Candidates with experience in streetwear, fashion, apparel, graphic tees, typography, illustration, or D2C brands will be preferred.

• Compensation will be discussed based on experience, portfolio, and scope of work
