About the Opportunity:

The PROPERTY MANAGEMENT VIRTUAL ASSISTANT role supports property management operations remotely by handling tenant and owner communications, coordinating maintenance, assisting with lease administration, and supporting rent collection. This position contributes to efficient property management workflows, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing vacancies.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and respond to tenant and owner communications via email, phone, and property management platforms
• Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up with vendors and contractors for timely resolution
• Assist with lease administration, including drafting, renewals, and document management
• Maintain accurate records in property management software Appfolio
• Support rent collection processes, track payments, and flag delinquencies
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and summaries for property managers and stakeholders
• Post and manage property listings across rental platforms to minimize vacancy
• Provide general administrative support including scheduling, data entry, and calendar management

Requirements:

• Prior experience in property management, real estate administration, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency with property management software such as AppFolio, Buildium, or Rent Manager
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused demeanor
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable internet connection and a fully equipped home office setup
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Must speak both English and Spanish fluently

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
