Jewelry CAD Design Intern (Remote, Part-Time, 10 hrs/week)
Jewelers Club LLC | Miami, FL (Remote)

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Jewelry CAD Design Intern to join our team on a remote, part-time basis (about 10 hours per week). The ideal candidate is a student or early-career designer with a passion for jewelry and a working knowledge of 3D modeling who wants hands-on experience taking designs from concept to production.

Jewelers Club is a Miami-based jewelry service operation providing custom design and production services to clients and industry partners. As our CAD intern, you will work directly with our lead designer to turn client requests, sketches, and references into production-ready 3D models.

What You’ll Do

  • Build 3D models of custom pieces (rings, pendants, chains, bracelets) from client sketches, reference images, and design briefs
  • Prepare files for 3D printing and casting (wall thickness, sprue points, shrinkage allowance, stone settings)
  • Revise models based on client feedback and production requirements
  • Create photorealistic renders for client approvals and marketing
  • Help organize and maintain the CAD file library

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in jewelry design, industrial design, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Rhino 3D (MatrixGold, RhinoGold, or ZBrush a plus)
  • Basic understanding of jewelry manufacturing: casting, stone setting, and metal properties
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical specs
  • Reliable communication and the ability to meet deadlines while working remotely
  • A portfolio of CAD work (school projects welcome)
