Senior UI/Visual Designer (UX)

We have an exciting opportunity within our consulting services division for a talented Senior UI/UX Designer to join the team through the end of the year. This fully remote, part-time position offers the opportunity to shape and elevate the digital experience of a corporate website through a combination of user journey optimization, modern visual design, and UX best practices. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable thinking strategically about user flows and creating polished, contemporary interfaces that balance usability, aesthetics, and business objectives.

• Equipment: Candidates must provide their own equipment
• Schedule: Must be available for team meetings during normal business hours; design work may be completed outside core business hours

Responsibilities

• Design and implement updates for the corporate website with a focus on both user experience and visual excellence
• Recommend UX and UI improvements across various website sections to enhance usability, engagement, and overall site aesthetics
• Create and enhance blog pages, templated pages, landing pages, and other web content layouts
• Develop intuitive user journeys, navigation patterns, and information architecture that improve content discoverability
• Produce high-fidelity visual designs, mockups, wireframes, and prototypes
• Develop page templates, UI components, and design specifications for development teams
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design intent is accurately translated into the final experience
• Quickly execute website updates, revisions, and design enhancements
• Ensure designs align with modern UX best practices, accessibility standards, and corporate branding guidelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver intuitive, visually compelling, and user-friendly digital experiences

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or Digital Designer with a strong focus on both UX and visual design
• Proficiency with Figma and Sketch
• Strong online portfolio showcasing polished, modern digital experiences that demonstrate both user-centered thinking and strong visual design execution
• Experience creating user journeys, page templates, navigation systems, and website user flows
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color, interaction design, and responsive web design principles
• Experience creating high-fidelity UI designs and translating concepts into developer-ready specifications
• Understanding of front-end development considerations and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to participate in team meetings during standard business hours
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing and modernizing content-rich websites and digital experiences
• Strong understanding of responsive design, usability principles, accessibility standards, and user-centered design methodologies
• Experience contributing to or working within established design systems and component libraries
• Portfolio demonstrates a balance of strategic UX problem-solving and refined, contemporary visual design
• Experience working across UX, UI, visual design, and front-end implementation considerations
