Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an AI Automation Engineer to design, develop, test, document, and support intelligent automation solutions that improve business processes, reduce manual effort, automate decision-making, and integrate enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python and .NET development experience , hands-on experience with workflow automation and Power Automate , enterprise API integration experience, and practical experience using AI-assisted development techniques to accelerate software delivery while maintaining quality, security, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document, and support AI-driven and workflow automation solutions .
• Re-engineer manual business processes into automated workflows that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Develop software solutions using Python and .NET technologies .
• Develop and optimize workflows using Power Automate and other automation tools.
• Build and consume APIs and integrate enterprise applications and systems.
• Develop containerized and distributed applications using Docker and Nomad .
• Apply AI-assisted development practices, including prompt-driven programming, code review, testing, and validation of AI-generated solutions.
• Develop and optimize prompts, instructions, and grounding strategies for AI systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production, integration, and application issues.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure automation solutions.
• Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to evaluate technical solutions and support adoption.
• Maintain technical documentation and solution-related records.
• Work independently with limited technical direction on moderately complex assignments.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience developing software solutions using Python and .NET technologies .
• 8+ years of experience integrating systems with enterprise applications and APIs.
• 5+ years of experience re-engineering manual workflows into automated workflow systems.
• 5+ years of experience collaborating with non-technical stakeholders on technical solution evaluation or adoption.
• 3+ years of experience developing workflows using tools such as Power Automate .
• 2+ years of experience developing and optimizing prompts, instructions, and grounding strategies for AI systems.
• 2+ years of experience using AI-assisted development practices, including prompt-driven programming and validation of AI-generated solutions.
• Experience with Docker and Nomad for containerized and distributed applications.
• Experience building and consuming APIs, troubleshooting complex issues, and developing technical documentation.
• Ability to independently develop scalable, maintainable, and secure automation solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience building complex Power Platform solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, or Copilot Studio.
• 2+ years of experience designing multi-agent, orchestration, or event-driven architectures.
• 2+ years of experience developing agentic infrastructure, including retrieval systems, orchestration frameworks, and MCP integrations.

Contract Details

• Start Date: November 1, 2026
• End Date: August 31, 2027
• Estimated Hours: Up to 1,736 hours
• Work Location: 100% Remote within the United States
• Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Contract may be amended, renewed, and/or extended by mutual written agreement.
