About the Opportunity
Are you a driven, high-performing administrative professional ready to take the next major step in your career? A premier global asset management firm in Midtown East is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to directly support a long-tenured Global Head and Partner.
This is a high-visibility, career-defining role for a hungry, eager professional looking to step up and support a top-tier senior leader. The ideal candidate possesses impeccable judgment, sharp EQ and a seamless blend of corporate polish and approachability.
Key Responsibilities
- Calendar & Schedule Management: Serve as the strategic gatekeeper, meticulously managing a complex, fast-moving Outlook calendar. The Executive is deeply involved in day-to-day operations and expects absolute precision.
- Global Travel & Logistics: Coordinate extensive, complex international travel arrangements, specifically managing itineraries aligned with an active fundraising cycle.
- Board & Committee Coordination: Support the Executive’s responsibilities across external Board commitments, deal flows, and all internal Investment Committee meetings.
- Expense Management: Efficiently process and track comprehensive expense reports using Concur.
- Ad-Hoc Support: Maintain a high level of responsiveness; while after-hours boundaries are deeply respected, a “24/7 mentality” is required to handle occasional time-sensitive, urgent matters.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 6–10 years of administrative experience supporting mid-level or senior leaders within the financial services industry (required). This role is specifically designed for someone ready to level up into a Global Head support position.
- Proven Longevity: A stable career trajectory is highly valued; ideally, you have only been with 2–3 firms total throughout your career.
- Education: BS/BA degree required.
- Professionalism: Exceptionally polished, articulate, and professional, balanced with an approachable and collaborative demeanor.
- Soft Skills: High EQ, rock-solid judgment, and the confidence to know when to execute independently versus when to ask clarifying questions.
