Role Description This is a full-time Hindi Content Writer role based in New Delhi, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Hindi Content Writer will create, edit, and update digital news content in Hindi across topics such as politics, current affairs, sports, entertainment, business, and technology. Daily tasks include researching news stories, drafting clear and engaging articles, writing headlines and social media copy, and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to editorial guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with editors, reporters, and digital teams to optimize content for the web, meet deadlines, and align with content strategy objectives. The ideal candidate will contribute ideas for new formats, help maintain the platform’s tone and standards, and support rapid coverage of breaking news when needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Web Content Writing and Writing skills, with proven ability to produce clear, engaging Hindi news content for digital platforms.
• Candidates should possess Content Strategy and Research skills to identify relevant topics, verify information, and align content with audience needs and editorial goals.
• Candidates should possess solid Proofreading skills to ensure accuracy, correct grammar and spelling, and maintain consistent style and tone.
• Fluency in Hindi (reading and writing) and good working proficiency in English for coordination and basic documentation.
• Experience in news media, digital journalism, or online publishing is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with SEO basics, social media platforms, and digital news trends.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines, and comfort with a fast-paced newsroom environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Hindi Literature, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
