Executive Assistant within the Office of the Chairman

Basic salary to $400,000 + Bonus + Relocation to Austin, Texas.

There are Executive Assistants.

You may currently support the UHNW Founder of a Family Office.

The Founder of a Venture Capital firm.

A Managing Partner of a Private Equity house.

The Founder of a Hedge Fund.

Or a Principal whose name rarely appears on an organization chart, but whose decisions influence billions of dollars.

You already know what this world looks like.

And we mean really know.

You understand that when your Principal loses 30 minutes, it isn’t an inconvenience.

It can have a cost.

You understand that a Calendar isn’t a collection of meetings. It is an allocation of attention, influence, relationships and capital.

You know which call gets moved.

Which one never does.

Who gets ten minutes.

Who gets an hour.

And who gets straight through.

You understand the machinery surrounding a UHNW Principal.

The investment office.

The family office.

The Board.

The bankers.

The lawyers.

The investors.

The portfolio companies.

The household.

The aircraft.

The properties.

The people who have known them for twenty years.

And you know how all of those worlds collide.

You have operated at this level before.

Not once.

Multiple times. With meaningful tenure.

You have built the kind of trust that cannot be written into a job description.

You have seen your Principal at their best, at their busiest and when everything changed at 11pm when they’re on the other side of the world.

You know when to ask and when not to ask, when to make the decision yourself. And when something that looks utterly insignificant to everyone else matters enormously.

This is not executive support from the edges.

You will know what they are trying to achieve before many of the people around them do.

You will protect their time, anticipate problems, connect dots and quietly make an incredibly complicated life work.

Business and private will overlap. Of course they will. At this level, they always do.

The bar

We are looking for someone with substantial, demonstrable experience supporting UHNW Principals at the very highest level.

You will have supported more than one Principal of this caliber , with strong tenure and increasing responsibility.

Your career is likely to include environments such as:

Investment Banking.

Private Equity.

Venture Capital.

Hedge Funds.

Family Offices.

Founder-led investment businesses.

UHNW private offices.

You will have worked across both the business and private worlds of a Principal.

You will understand investments, Boards, deals, portfolio businesses, advisers, and the ecosystem surrounding significant private wealth.

But just as importantly, you understand the individual.

The preferences.

The rhythms.

The relationships.

The tiny pieces of information you remember because nobody else does.

You are not trying to break into UHNW support.

You are not looking for your first role supporting a Founder.

And this is not the next logical step from being an excellent corporate Executive Assistant.

The experience required for this role is unusually specific.

Because the role is unusually significant.

$400,000.

That number is deliberate.

We are looking for one of the very best Executive Assistants in the United States.
