Deployment Strategist, Physical AI

About the Opportunity:

Software engineering is changing as AI takes on more implementation work. Increasingly, the most valuable technical people will be those who can understand complex problems, work directly with customers, exercise strong product judgment, and coordinate the people needed to deliver a result.

Greylock recently led the Series A in a New York infrastructure company building the simulation platform for the next generation of physical AI.

The company helps teams building robotics, autonomous systems, perception systems, and other physical products test their systems in high-fidelity cloud simulation. This lets customers iterate faster, catch failures earlier, and reduce expensive real-world testing. The founding team brings deep experience across AI, autonomy, simulation, and large-scale software systems and is building a highly technical, in-person team in New York.

About the Role:

The company is looking for a Deployment Strategist to work at the intersection of customers, engineering, and product.

You will work closely with technical customers to understand their workflows, identify the highest-impact problems, and turn ambiguous needs into clear deployment plans. You will coordinate across simulation, engineering, product, and commercial teams to move projects from discovery to working solutions.

This role is for someone technical who also brings strong communication, product judgment, and stakeholder management. You will manage multiple engagements, create clarity across teams, and bring customer learnings back into the product to help turn one-off deployments into repeatable capabilities.

What You’ll Do:

• Embed with customer teams to understand their workflows, technical challenges, and highest-impact problems
• Turn ambiguous customer needs into clear deployment plans and own engagements from discovery through implementation
• Build trusted relationships with engineers and technical stakeholders while coordinating across product, simulation, and commercial teams
• Manage multiple workstreams, tradeoffs, and dependencies to keep deployments moving
• Bring what you learn from customers back into the product, identifying recurring needs that should become reusable platform capabilities

What They’re Looking For:

• 1 to 5 years of experience in software engineering, customer engineering, technical consulting, solutions engineering, technical program management, or a related role
• A strong technical foundation and the ability to earn credibility with engineers
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to understand the real problem behind a customer request
• Strong ownership and judgment, with the ability to bring structure to ambiguous, open-ended problems
• High learning velocity, product intuition, and comfort working across engineering, product, and customer problems in a fast-moving environment
