Senior AWS Developer / Senior Cloud Application Developer

Long Term Contract

Jersey City, NY (4 Days onsite)

10+ Senior hands-on developer with strong analytical, problem solving and strong technical skills with good communication skills (verbal and written)

Ownership and self-starter who can hit the ground quickly and drive the implementation projects independently.

Work with users independently to understand the requirements & adapt to the functional and business use case requirements and implement them

AWS Cloud experience is must – Airflow, ECS Fargate, Aurora , Lambda, Java / DB2 , Snowflake, Typescript

Good understanding of AWS infra deployment , testing , configuration (resiliency setups etc.,)

Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, Co-pilot)

They want someone who can:

Talk directly with business/users and understand requirements.

Convert requirements into technical solutions.

Develop applications using Java/TypeScript.

Work with DB2, Aurora and Snowflake.

Build/deploy workloads on AWS using services such as ECS Fargate, Lambda and Airflow.

Handle AWS configuration, testing and resiliency.

Work independently without needing constant direction.

Use AI coding/productivity tools such as Claude and Copilot in real development work.

AWS Cloud – strong hands-on experience

Apache Airflow – workflows/data pipelines

AWS ECS Fargate – containerized application deployment

AWS Aurora – cloud database

AWS Lambda – serverless development

Java – backend development

DB2 – database experience

Snowflake – cloud data warehouse

TypeScript – application/frontend/backend development

AWS infrastructure deployment – configuration, deployment, testing, resiliency/high availability

AI developer tools – hands-on use of Claude and GitHub Copilot
