Software Engineer II – Azure/Salesforce

Solu is seeking a Software Engineer II – Azure/Salesforce to support a bank’s Service Modernization initiative, a large enterprise-wide effort to migrate legacy applications from on-premises environments to SaaS and Microsoft Azure.

This position will focus on the development and modernization of enterprise applications and integrations, with an emphasis on Azure cloud development, APIs, and integration services. The team primarily supports nCino, a commercial lending platform built on Salesforce, and develops integrations between Salesforce, Azure, and other enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong Azure and cloud integration experience, along with solid software engineering and API development skills. Salesforce experience is preferred, while strong Java and enterprise integration experience are also relevant.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, test, debug, and support enterprise applications and integration solutions.
• Develop and support cloud-based integrations using Microsoft Azure.
• Design, develop, and support APIs and integration services between Salesforce and other enterprise applications.
• Develop and maintain Azure Functions and other Azure-based solutions to support application integrations.
• Help migrate legacy Java/Spring integrations and applications to Azure and modern cloud platforms.
• Support Salesforce/nCino applications and integrations as part of the Service Modernization initiative.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and develop effective application and integration solutions.
• Work closely with Development, Operations, Technology, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues and complete required debugging and testing.
• Evaluate complex relationships between applications, platforms, systems, and data.
• Prepare and maintain technical and functional specifications, system documentation, test plans, and project assessments.
• Support enterprise modernization and cloud adoption initiatives.
• Recommend technologies, processes, and solutions to improve application performance and support business objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced team members as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems analysis and/or application development experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure , particularly Azure Functions.
• Experience with Salesforce development and/or Salesforce-based applications.
• Experience developing and supporting APIs, application integrations, and cloud-based integration solutions.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience designing and implementing technology or application solutions based on business requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong Java development experience, particularly Java/Spring.
• Experience with nCino or Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
• Experience migrating legacy applications or integrations to Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Banking or financial services experience.
• Commercial lending platform experience.
• Experience working with complex data models and relationships.
