Back End Developer

**Senior Software Engineer (Backend) AI Healthtech New York $230k to $300k + equity**

I’m hiring for a Series A healthtech company in NYC that is using AI to improve the quality and safety of patient care across the US. They’re backed by top-tier VCs, already serve over 250,000 healthcare providers across all 50 states, and are hiring 4 to 6 senior engineers as they scale.

What you’ll do

• Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant systems on AWS that keep up with fast customer and data growth
• Build AI-powered workflows that automate clinical data processing for thousands of providers
• Own high-impact projects end to end, working closely with product
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architecture guidance

What they’re looking for

• 6+ years in backend engineering, with strong Python, TypeScript and AWS
• At least 2 years at a venture-backed startup through its growth from early stage to Series B or beyond
• A track record of owning projects from design to production
• Experience building data extraction, document processing or API systems, and the ability to explain the trade-offs behind your designs
• B2B SaaS or healthcare experience is a plus

• $230k to $300k base plus equity
• Hybrid, 4 days a week in their Manhattan office
• Must be authorised to work in the US without visa sponsorship, now or in the future
