Specialized Elevator is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to lead our shift from manual billing and certified payroll processes to AI-powered automation. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thinks like a technologist and process owner — someone who can actually build automation using Claude or similar AI tools, not just talk about it.

You’ll own the transformation of how we handle Order to Cash and certified payroll/government reporting — redesigning workflows, automating manual steps, and partnering across Sales, Operations, IT, and Finance to modernize processes from the ground up.

What you’ll do:

● Use Claude and similar AI tools to redesign and automate billing and certified payroll/government-reporting workflows

● Build AI-powered tools and agents that reduce manual effort in invoicing, certified payroll submission, and portal reporting

● Own the migration from manual, spreadsheet-driven processes to a fully automated workflow — from current-state mapping to implementation

● Review contracts to determine certified payroll/prevailing wage applicability (Davis-Bacon and state equivalents), partnering with Sales, Operations, and IT to catch these jobs early

● Support certified payroll submissions (WH-347 and state equivalents) to portals like LCPtracker, SAM.gov, and state DOL systems

● Build dashboards and recurring analytics on billing cycle times, DSO, and compliance status

● Act as the internal business analyst for Order to Cash transformation initiatives

What you bring:

● Hands-on experience building real automation, workflows, or agents with Claude or a comparable AI platform — this is the top priority

● A business analyst / process transformation mindset

● Billing, order to cash, or certified payroll/government compliance experience is a strong plus, but not required if your AI/automation experience is strong

● Comfort reading contracts to assess prevailing wage applicability (or the ability to learn quickly)

● Strong Excel/analytics skills; BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus

● ERP exposure (Viewpoint, Sage, Foundation, Procore, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) a plus

● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or Business preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
