Open-Source Software Engineer, Part-Time AI Training Work - Remote (United States)

What you’ll do

• Set up reproducible training environments around challenging software engineering work, including bug fixes, new features, refactors and performance work

• Develop reference solutions and state clearly what a completed task should produce

• Provide code samples, debugging approaches and technical explanations in Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++ and TypeScript

• Investigate defects and performance bottlenecks, modernize legacy code, and review code contributed by peers and technical submissions

• Strong experience with Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++ or TypeScript

• Able to write clear technical documentation and communicate in English, with a verifiable record of open-source contributions and a GitHub or GitLab profile

• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
