Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Databricks, PySpark, Python, DBT, Snowflake, and SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, data models, and cloud-based data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks and PySpark.
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and DBT.
• Develop data models and data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Integrate data from multiple sources while ensuring data quality, accuracy, and reliability.
• Perform data transformation, cleansing, validation, and processing of large datasets.
• Develop efficient SQL queries and optimize data processing and pipeline performance.
• Collaborate with data analysts, architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams.
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, scalability, and performance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production data pipeline issues.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Prepare technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
• Excellent knowledge of PySpark and distributed data processing.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Strong experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Solid experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Azure or Snowflake certifications are preferred.

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per year
