UI/UX Designer

The Role

• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides for consistency across digital platforms, including signage for transit systems.
• Partner with User Experience Research to understand rider needs, behaviors, and pain points, maintaining a feedback loop for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align on user needs and business goals.
• Partner with the Creative team to ensure brand alignment.
• Present design concepts and research findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Establish and document UX processes and best practices.
• Implement user testing and other quality control measures.

What You’ll Need

• 8+ years of experience in UX design, with a focus on mobile applications.
• Proven experience leading UX for complex digital products.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Strong leadership skills to champion user-centered design practices.
• Proficiency in UX design tools and excellent visual design skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with complexity and close attention to detail.
• Experience in the transportation industry or related fields.
• Experience with accessibility guidelines.
