Job Title: Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer – Wellness

Location: Remote – US

Employment: Full-Time

Travel: 10–15%

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer to work directly with enterprise wellness clients and own the complete technical delivery lifecycle—from pre-sales, solution design, development, integration, testing, and production deployment .

Mandatory Requirements

  • 5–15 years of hands-on software engineering experience with proven production deployments.
  • Strong Python and TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with React and Next.js .
  • Strong PySpark, ETL/ELT, data ingestion, and data pipeline experience.
  • Experience building LLM/Generative AI, RAG, AI Agents , prompt engineering, function calling, structured outputs, guardrails, and observability.
  • Strong system architecture, API design, integration, and distributed systems experience.
  • Experience integrating CRM, wellness applications, and heterogeneous enterprise data sources .
  • Proven customer-facing experience including technical demos, requirements gathering, architecture discussions, and working directly with client engineering/data teams.
  • Must have delivered solutions end-to-end: Pre-sales → Design → Build → Production .
  • Startup / founding-engineer / early-stage company experience strongly preferred.
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder only; no sponsorship available.
  • Must be based in the US , preferably Eastern or Central time zones.

Preferred

Healthcare, wellness, fitness, life sciences, or B2B SaaS experience.
