About The Role We are seeking a curious and creative Frontend / AI Engineer to join our innovative team remotely within the Continental United States. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing next-generation AI-powered product experiences. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to transform large language models (LLMs) into user-facing features that enhance our platform’s capabilities. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend front-end development, API integration, and rapid prototyping, making it ideal for someone eager to explore how artificial intelligence can revolutionize modern applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering foundation, a maker’s mindset, and a passion for experimenting with emerging tools and technologies in the AI space.

Qualifications

• Full-stack or front-end-focused engineering experience with a strong understanding of modern web development
• Proficiency in custom CSS and front-end frameworks, particularly React
• Experience working with APIs, JSON, and asynchronous workflows
• Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Python (FastAPI, Flask), Java (Spring Boot), or similar
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or equivalent
• Curiosity about AI advancements and a commitment to staying current with emerging tools and model capabilities
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and a maker’s mindset for rapid prototyping and experimentation
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-driven product features that seamlessly integrate large language models via APIs
• Prototype quickly and iterate rapidly, transforming rough concepts into functional interfaces and tools
• Create intuitive and engaging front-end experiences using React to visualize complex AI outputs
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design APIs and data pipelines supporting AI interactions
• Work across the technology stack, from front-end interfaces to backend service integration in Python
• Experiment with new LLM capabilities, prompt engineering techniques, and libraries to enhance product features
• Contribute to the development of internal tools for data cleaning, model evaluation, and content generation workflows
• Stay updated on advancements in AI and incorporate innovative solutions into product development
