About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team at Bitfinex. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that support our trading platform and related services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, security specialists, and data analysts, to deliver innovative features and enhancements that improve user experience and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a passion for blockchain technology, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest standards of quality and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development, preferably in fintech, blockchain, or trading platforms.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud computing platforms.
• Experience with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of security best practices in software development, especially in financial and trading environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
