WordPress Developer

Company Description MagicWP is a dedicated management platform for WordPress that delivers high performance and stability through isolated environments on custom-built infrastructure. Each site benefits from dedicated resources without requiring users to manage servers. A single, independent control panel replaces traditional wp-admin tasks, handling backups, domains, PHP versions, database tools, and staging environments with no plugins or manual configuration. MagicWP treats WordPress as controllable infrastructure, using orchestration and automation behind the scenes to provide a streamlined, reliable interface. This approach allows teams to focus on building and maintaining sites rather than dealing with complex server operations.

Role Description This part-time remote WordPress Developer role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress sites hosted on the MagicWP platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing custom themes and plugins, implementing front-end layouts, and ensuring responsive, accessible user interfaces. The developer will collaborate with product and support teams to troubleshoot issues, improve site performance, and integrate new features. Additional tasks include testing and deploying changes in staging environments, managing updates, and ensuring compatibility with MagicWP’s infrastructure and tooling. The role requires independent work, clear communication, and a strong emphasis on code quality and reliability.
