We have an immediate openings for a Network Team Lead to join our team of talented engineers/architects supporting a large federal agency. The Cisco Network Team Lead will manage a team of network and security engineers to document data networks, prepare and perform migrations, ensure implementation of design solutions for network data communications services encompassing Cisco network products and technologies including but not limited to Cisco ISR 43xx/45xx/ASR 100x/Cisco Cat 9k/Cat 4k/Nexus 7k platforms; network protocols/topologies such as OSPF/BGP/IPSEC VPN/SDWAN , Spanning Tree, Virtual Switch Stack (VSS), IP Subnetting, among others.

Description of Daily Duties:

• Lead a network team of 8 engineers support Federal Agency’s data networks
• Ability to communicate at all levels with the Federal customer and team engineers.
• Work with internal teams and Federal Agency to implement data solutions leveraging Routing Protocols (OSPF/BGP), Hub and Spoke Topologies (IPSEC VPNs/DMVPN/SDWAN), Switching technologies (Spanning Tree, VSS), Palo Alto Firewalls and Infoblox.
• Monitor Network performance and take steps to ensure optimal performance.
• Recommend solutions, improvements, strategy, and architecture for data networks
• Serve as Tier 4 and resolve issues related to Data Networks.
• Manage network ticket queue and assign and manage tickets.
• Support Network Architecture in designing network engineering initiatives for all project-related and ongoing operations support for network communications services
• Mentor Senior Network Engineers

What are we looking for ?

• Active Public Trust 6c Clearance or Must be US Citizen cleared to get Public Trust.
• Active Cisco CCIE
• 10+ years of experience with data networks with emphasis in Routing Protocols (OSPF/BGP), Switching Technologies (Spanning Tree, VSS), IPSEC VPNs.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst Center, Palo Alto Firewalls and Infoblox.
• Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with project teams and managers as a service provider
• Strong team player and team mentor
• Experience with Automation (Ansible) highly desired.
