Principal Consultant | AI Security (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Consultant AI Security (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This is a high-impact consulting role focused on guiding clients through the secure adoption of AI and ML technologies. You will shape AI security strategy, provide executive-level advisory support, and help define practical frameworks and reference architectures that strengthen trust in AI systems. The role also blends hands-on expertise with practice development, vendor collaboration, and mentorship across multidisciplinary teams.

You will work closely with clients, internal specialists, and external partners to address emerging AI security challenges and deliver solutions that align with business objectives and risk expectations.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $190,000 – $250,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements as a Subject Matter Expert in AI security services.
• Assess client needs and provide strategic recommendations at executive levels.
• Own and evolve the practice’s AI security offerings, creating reference architectures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver AI security solutions.
• Develop a point of view on emerging AI security challenges.
• Foster partnerships with vendors and industry groups to exceed client expectations.
• Mentor consultants and contribute to talent development within the practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience developing and managing cybersecurity strategies and architectures.
• 3+ years of experience securing AI/ML systems in production.
• Expertise in AI security and Trustworthy AI Principles and Frameworks.
• Proficiency with at least one major cloud service provider and its AI security capabilities.
