Strategic Projects Lead, AI Training

For our client, we are seeking a Strategic Projects Lead, AI Training to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will lead end-to-end AI training engagements, translating customer needs into effective project execution and delivery. You will guide contributor sourcing, onboarding, workflow design, and ongoing project management across multiple complex initiatives. The position also plays a key role in strengthening operational processes, improving quality and cost outcomes, and supporting the growth of the company’s AI training services.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of AI training projects from initial customer discussions through successful delivery
• Create and implement sourcing strategies to identify specialized contributor communities
• Recruit and manage contributors, establishing efficient workflows for onboarding and task management
• Track and evaluate project metrics such as quality and cost to ensure effective execution
• Oversee project economics, aligning contributor compensation and staffing with customer expectations and timelines
• Serve as the primary liaison for customers throughout project execution, ensuring clear communication of progress and changes
• Identify and implement improvements to processes and systems that support sustainable business growth in AI training

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in project leadership within operations-focused roles, ideally in AI or related fields
• Experience managing large external workforces and contributors, particularly in AI training settings
• Strong analytical and project management capabilities to oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Proven problem-solving skills and comfort working in ambiguous environments
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with AI training methodologies and processes is a plus
