About the Role

We are looking for a Senior SEO Engineer who understands modern SEO, technical SEO, e-commerce SEO, and the rapidly changing AI search landscape.

The ideal candidate should be able to develop and execute SEO strategies across Google Search, AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other AI-driven search platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute advanced SEO and AI Search/GEO strategies
• Own technical SEO, including crawling, indexing, site architecture, Core Web Vitals and JavaScript SEO
• Optimize e-commerce product, category and collection pages
• Conduct keyword, competitor, content-gap and search-intent research
• Implement and optimize Schema.org / JSON-LD structured data
• Improve internal linking, site structure and topical authority
• Optimize content for Google and AI-powered search
• Monitor Google Search Console, GA4 and organic performance
• Use tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and GA4
• Work with developers and content teams to implement SEO improvements
• Build SEO automation using AI, APIs, Python/SQL or other technologies
• Identify opportunities to increase organic traffic, conversions and revenue

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience
• Strong Technical SEO + E-commerce SEO experience
• Strong understanding of modern AI Search / GEO / Generative Search
• Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
• Strong knowledge of Google Search and Search Console
• Experience with structured data and technical SEO implementation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand HTML, JavaScript, JSON-LD and basic programming
• Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush and Screaming Frog
• Ability to connect SEO strategy with business revenue and conversions

Preferred

• Python / SQL / API experience
• Programmatic SEO experience
• Google Merchant Center experience
• Experience optimizing large e-commerce websites
• Experience measuring visibility across AI search platforms

What We Are Looking For

We want a hands-on senior SEO professional, not someone who only does keyword research, content writing or basic SEO reports.

You should understand how Google and AI search engines discover, understand, rank and recommend websites and be able to implement the strategy yourself.
