Senior Account Executive, AWS Professional & Managed Services (US)

Our client is an AWS Premier Tier Consulting Partner delivering Cloud Migration, AI/ML, and Application Development for startups and SMBs across North America and EMEA. They work hand in hand with AWS field teams, and Sales sits at the center of that partnership.

We’re helping them hire a Senior Account Executive in the US. This is a full-time, permanent position directly with the client.

The Role

This is a field role. You’ll own the full sales cycle for AWS Professional and Managed Services, from the first discovery call to the signed deal. Pipeline comes from two directions: AWS sellers who trust you enough to bring you into their accounts, and your own outbound. Expect to spend real time in AWS offices, not just on calls.

What You’ll Do

• Own deals end to end: discovery, solution shaping with Pre-Sales, proposal, pricing, negotiation, close
• Build trust with AWS Account Executives and Partner Sales Managers in person, and turn it into co-sell opportunities
• Run the co-sell motion with AWS field teams, from referral through close
• Generate your own pipeline through cold calling, LinkedIn, and lead-gen platforms
• Balance new logos with growing existing accounts
• Keep the CRM accurate and your forecast honest
• Work with PMO and delivery leads when an escalation puts a customer or AWS relationship at risk
• Mentor junior sellers and help shape the sales playbook

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years in sales at an AWS SI partner, selling Professional or Managed Services. Pure SaaS or product sales won’t be a match
• Direct experience with AWS Startup (SUP) and SMB segment teams
• Existing relationships in the AWS field. You should be able to name the AEs and PSMs you’d call in your first week
• Hands-on experience with ACE opportunity registration and the AO lifecycle
• A consistent record of hitting or beating targets in AWS services
• Based within 1 hour of an AWS hub in New York City, San Francisco, or Austin

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary $135,000 to $150,000, depending on experience
• OTE of roughly $350,000 to $400,000
