Showroom Sales & Design Associate for Kitchen and Bath showroom

Overview

Grand Interiors NYC is a new and growing showroom specializing in kitchen, bath, and doors. We are seeking a motivated and friendly Retail Sales & Design Associate to join our team as we prepare to open in November/December. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in interior design, sales, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with customers, possess strong sales skills, and have a basic understanding of interior, kitchen, or bath design.

Duties

• Engage with customers in the showroom to understand their needs and preferences related to kitchen, bath, and door design projects
• Provide knowledgeable assistance on product options, features, and benefits to help customers make informed decisions
• Support the sales process by demonstrating products and explaining design concepts effectively
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a welcoming and professional showroom environment
• Assist with basic interior or design consultations when needed
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the showroom space
• Stay informed about product inventory, new arrivals, and industry trends to better serve customers
• Contribute to achieving sales goals through proactive customer engagement and relationship building

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Basic knowledge of interior, kitchen, or bath design is advantageous but not mandatory; interest in learning about design is essential
• Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen carefully to customer needs
• Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude and a desire to grow within the company
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

Pay: $55,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
