• Mid & senior level, with a salary range of approx £65 - 100k depending on experience

🩵 My client are a very exciting health tech start up (founded in 2020, over $15mil funding) in the tech for good space.

Some of the best Ruby engineers I know are working at this company! Whilst they all work hard, the environment is healthy and the CPTO is big on ensuring his team don’t burn out 🙌🏼

Tech for good/ social impact:

✨ They’re helping solve a problem that is increasingly impacting society & treatment is quite inaccessible right now. It’s a challenging/emotional/exciting experience for anyone going through it & their platform allows clinics to offer improved experience for these people. The analytics side of the platform gives clinics more data in order to make better business decisions ✨

💻⚙️Tech info:

• The roles are backend leaning but you will touch the frontend too so full stack experience is preferred
• “The Rails Way” - Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, Turbo, Stimulus, Postgres, AWS. React Native for mobile (experience not required)
• AI (Claude code) is used on a daily basis to support development and productivity
• All of the engineers bring a product/ user mindset. There is 1 dedicated product manager in the business
• They’re looking to hire people who are very happy to stay hands-on as an individual contributor right now

💷📈 Salary, team info and benefits:

• £70 - 100k depending on experience PLUS meaningful equity in a business showing great early signs
• Join a tech team of approx 25 people (17 Engineers with Ruby skills). The company is around 35 individuals
• Female founded business. The other founder is highly technical and very fond of Ruby on Rails
• Be an early Engineer in a start up that is showing very positive signs of long term success
• AI forward company constantly exploring how AI can support development, without disregarding the need for human judgement and expertise
