Job Description
Who we are
Malka London is a premium headwear brand, designed and made in London. Since 2021, we’ve crowned over 10,000 women all around the world.
Malka means “Queen” in Hebrew. Our mission: to make every woman who puts on a crown feel exactly like that, no matter what her hair journey is.
The role
I’m looking for a serious, mature intern to support me during an important growth period for the brand. This is not a typical internship: you’ll be involved in real projects, with real responsibilities, working directly alongside me, the founder.
If you’re looking to tick a box on your CV, this isn’t for you. If you want to learn how an independent brand is built from the inside, keep reading.
⚠️ This internship is hybrid and requires your physical presence in London. Please only apply if you are already based in London or the surrounding area.
Your responsibilities
Events — London & Paris
— Supporting the logistics and preparation of pop-ups, trade shows and workshops
— Venue research and supplier coordination
— Managing registrations and guest communications
— Being physically present on event days to ensure everything runs smoothly
Partnerships
— Identifying and reaching out to potential partners for our events
— Managing follow-ups and drafting simple partnership proposals
Press & Media Outreach
— Researching relevant magazines, blogs, podcasts and online publications (beauty, fashion, lifestyle, Afro hair, women’s empowerment)
— Drafting and sending outreach emails to journalists, editors and content creators
— Building and maintaining a press contact list
— Following up on media opportunities and tracking coverage
Photoshoot — August 2026
— On-set assistance: day-of coordination, managing logistics and people
— Supporting the brief and post-production follow-up
Admin & Operations
— Managing emails and incoming requests
— Coordinating with the atelier
— Order and shipping follow-up
— Supporting the founder’s schedule and day-to-day organisation
No days will ever be the same!
What we’re looking for
— Available to work 3 days a week (at least 2 days in person in East London to work together)
— Mature, reliable and highly organised — you manage, you anticipate, you deliver
— Strong written and spoken communication in English (French is a bonus)
— Comfortable with being autonomous
— Passionate about entrepreneurship, fashion or independent brands
— Based in London — this role requires in-person presence regularly
— This internship is unpaid — we are looking for someone who sees the genuine value of the experience
What you’ll gain
— Real hands-on experience working directly alongside a founder
— Participation in events in London and Paris
— Practical experience on a brand photoshoot
— Skills in project management, event organisation, press outreach and partnership development
— A personal and sincere recommendation at the end of the internship
