The Role

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and test software applications.
• Apply knowledge of software architecture to develop, debug, or design software.
• Build enhancements within existing architectures and suggest improvements.
• Take end-to-end product lifecycle ownership, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows for enterprise applications.
• Focus on architecting, building, and evolving scalable, reliable, and secure enterprise-grade applications.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, OOP, design patterns, and enterprise-grade services.
• Experience with versioned REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Expertise in TDD, automated unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), and API contract testing.
• Hands-on experience with cloud service integration (serverless, API gateway, Kafka) and production-grade algorithm/data-structure engineering.
• Ability to build responsive web applications using JavaScript, HTML, and frameworks like Angular JS or React.
• Proficiency in SQL-based data modeling, querying, and database engineering.
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes) and source code management (Git, SVN).
• Knowledge of large-scale production observability (Splunk, New Relic) and schema-driven integration (XML, JSON, OpenAPI).
