Job Description
About the company
A seed-stage, investor-backed marketplace that helps AI companies, research labs, and enterprises buy and resell GPU capacity with clear pricing and standard contract terms.
In about two years it has built relationships with most of the GPU providers in the market and found strong product-market fit as demand for compute outpaced supply.
The team is small, fully remote, and flat, and it’s now expanding into new infrastructure products, including smart routing of AI inference traffic and a secondary market for GPU hardware. The role You’ll be one of the first product hires, owning the roadmap end to end as a hands-on IC with no PM team beneath you.
Your first big job is a brand-new product line that exists today as a short concept doc, and you’ll be expected to take it to an MVP within roughly your first 90 days. You’ll work directly with a senior, self-organizing engineering team, the sales team, customers, and the CEO.
This seat needs strong opinions backed by data, including when that means disagreeing with leadership. What you’ll do
- Own the full lifecycle of a new product line, from customer discovery and wireframes through backlog definition and launch
- Talk with compute buyers and the sales team to find where the buying and routing experience breaks down, then turn that into clear requirements for engineers
- Run and prioritize the engineering backlog in Linear, keeping a senior dev team pointed at the work that matters most
- Build wireframes and quick prototypes in Miro or with AI prototyping tools so stakeholders and engineers see the same thing before code gets written
- Work through API design, data models, and system tradeoffs with engineers on infrastructure-heavy features
- Keep go-to-market in sync on timelines and releases so what ships and what gets sold line up
What you must bring
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Real IC PM experience where you owned the full scope of product work yourself, without a team of PMs under you
- At least one 0-to-1 product you took from discovery through market launch
- Experience leading engineering teams at seed to Series B startups
- Enough technical depth to reason about APIs, data models, system behavior, and implementation tradeoffs
- Hands-on ability to produce wireframes and lightweight prototypes
- The confidence to push back on leadership and hold your ground in a direct, fast-moving environment
- Comfort working without much structure or support and making calls on your own
Nice to have
- Experience with two-sided marketplace or transactional products
- Exposure to GPU cloud, AI infrastructure, or compute platforms
- A customer-facing background at a startup
Compensation & logistics
- $140K to $180K base salary plus highly competitive equity
- Fully remote within the US, working US Eastern time hours
- Quarterly in-person team meetups of 2 to 3 days, typically in New York, NY
- A short, fast interview process with a target start in the near term
- Open to visa transfers, including OPT and H-1B transfers
This isn’t the right fit if
- You want to manage a team of PMs rather than do the product work yourself
- Your experience is only at large cloud providers, big tech companies, or traditional banks, with no startup time
- You need a fully defined roadmap and a lot of process before you can move
