Assistant IT Team Manager - Software Applications

Seeking a seasoned IT leader to manage mission-critical dealer application systems supporting Honda’s global operations. The Team Manager will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of dealer and field application platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, compliance, and innovation.

Responsibilities include

• presenting IT strategies to leadership
• leading and mentoring a diverse team
• ensuring project delivery following established methodologies
• acting as Solutions Architect for technical workstreams
• establishing governance, security, and compliance standards
• driving innovation and process improvements
• managing budgets and vendor relationships
• recruiting talent and supporting vendor negotiations

Qualifications encompass a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field , with

• minimum 8 years of IT experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• expertise in security, governance, application modernization, and enterprise architecture
• strong communication, project management, and stakeholder skills
• experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and on-premise environments
• familiarity with industry standards and best practices.

This role is onsite, with possible remote work one day per week, and does not support visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.
