Job Description
• $55–$100 per hour
• 100% remote
• Part-time
• 20 or more hours a week, you choose when
Work on the cutting edge of AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the practical plan-review expertise you already have.
The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real experts. The teams building them need technical plan reviewers who can create realistic shop and field scenarios, judge how well the AI interprets drawings and plans, write the answer a professional would give, and explain where the AI falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of AI models for machining, construction, mining and fire safety. This is that work, done remotely, around your current job.
What you’ll do
• Assess advanced machining drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing specifications
• Check CNC setup and programming documentation for sound practices and troubleshooting concerns
• Evaluate construction and mine plans for missing details, feasibility issues and regulatory concerns
• Assess fire and building plans, explaining safety and compliance issues clearly
Why this is worth your time
• Get paid $55–$100 an hour to build real AI skills, on top of your current job
• Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most technical plan reviewers will not have for years
• Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping technical plan review and field work, and the people who understand it from the inside will lead that change
• Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute
Who this is for
• Bring at least 10 years of experience in one of these roles: master machinist, construction superintendent, drilling engineer, mine planner, cabinetmaker or fire officer
• Strong working knowledge of CNC programming, machining processes, GD&T application, and the use of technical drawings and field plans, plus US codes and standards for construction, fire or mining
• Experience reviewing fire and building plans for safety and regulatory issues, with clear written and spoken explanations of complex shop or field situations
• No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.
Pay and details
• $55–$100 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
• 20 or more hours a week, you choose when; fully remote, United States
