Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, network security, cloud networking, and troubleshooting complex network issues. This role will work closely with infrastructure, security, cloud, and application teams to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing network services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN environments.
• Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain network architecture, diagrams, standards, and documentation.
• Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, and security.
• Troubleshoot complex network connectivity, performance, and routing issues.
• Configure and manage routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and static routing .
• Implement VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, QoS, DHCP, DNS, NAT, and IP addressing.
• Manage firewall technologies, security policies, ACLs, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Support cloud networking environments across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud .
• Participate in network upgrades, migrations, data-center implementations, and infrastructure projects.
• Implement network security best practices and assist with vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor and resolve incidents using network monitoring and management tools.
• Perform root-cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in on-call and escalation support as required.
• Mentor junior network engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in network engineering or network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, and network security .
• Hands-on experience with enterprise routers and switches.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies ; experience with Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar technologies is a plus.
• Proficiency with BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, VPN, NAT, ACLs, and QoS .
• Experience with firewalls and network security solutions.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting using Python, Ansible, or similar technologies .
• Experience with cloud networking concepts and services.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• CCNA/CCNP, JNCIP, PCNSE, AWS, Azure, or equivalent certifications .
• Experience with SD-WAN, SDN, network automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or data-center environments.
• Knowledge of zero-trust networking and modern network security architectures.
