Compensation: $140,000 - 160,000 base salary + equity

Our client is building technology that helps teams respond to enquiries around the clock, book more work and understand what is happening in every customer conversation. It is bringing a more connected, data-informed approach to a part of the industry that is ripe for disruption.

Backed by established early-stage investors, the company is investing in its next phase of growth across product and go-to-market. This hire will play a direct part in building the commercial team and the recruiting foundations to support it.

We’re looking for a hands-on Recruiting Lead to help build the team behind that growth. You’ll own hiring across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and other business functions, while putting the tools and processes in place to make recruiting more effective as the company scales.

You’ll work closely with senior leaders, with room to influence both individual hiring decisions and the longer-term shape of the recruiting function, plus longer term opportunities to build a team around you.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning full-cycle GTM and business hiring, from intake and sourcing through assessment, offer and close.
• Building targeted pipelines and engaging strong candidates who are not actively looking.
• Partnering with hiring managers to define success, calibrate profiles and make confident hiring decisions.
• Creating a responsive candidate experience and keeping interview processes moving.
• Helping select and implement an ATS, then building practical workflows and useful reporting around it.
• Using market insight and recruiting data to identify bottlenecks and advise leaders on hiring trade-offs.
• Establishing simple, effective recruiting practices that can scale with the business.

What we’re looking for

• Strong hands-on experience recruiting across Sales and other GTM or business functions.
• Evidence that you’ve personally sourced, engaged and closed candidates in competitive markets.
• Experience in a startup or fast-growing business, with the judgment to bring structure without adding unnecessary process.
• The confidence to advise senior stakeholders, challenge a brief constructively and turn it into an effective search.
• An interest in building recruiting infrastructure, including ATS workflows, interview processes and reporting.
• The independence and follow-through to deliver in a remote role.

You don’t need to have led a recruiting team before. This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys recruiting themselves and wants to help build the function around that work.

The offer

• $140,000 - 160,000 base salary plus equity.
• Fully remote working from anywhere in the US - the candidate must be comfortable covering flexible timezones including the West Coast and Europe.
• Occasional travel to the Bay Area where HQ is based
• Ownership of important commercial hires and the opportunity to shape a recruiting function as the company grows.
