Job Description

X Byte Share is building an equity infrastructure platform for private companies, helping founders, investors, and legal/CS teams manage cap tables, funding transactions, compliance, and equity workflows in one place.

We are looking for a Frontend & UI/UX Design Intern who can help us make X Byte Share significantly easier and more intuitive to use.

This is not a role where you will simply be given screens to code. You will be expected to look at the existing product, identify UI/UX gaps, redesign flows, and then help implement those improvements.

What you’ll work on

  • Improve the overall design system, including typography, spacing, components, states, forms, tables, navigation, buttons, cards, and empty/error/loading states.
  • Design guided UI experiences that help users complete complex equity and compliance workflows step-by-step.
  • Convert complicated processes into simple, understandable user journeys.
  • Improve information hierarchy so users immediately understand what needs to be done, why it matters, and what to do next.
  • Create and refine wireframes, high-fidelity screens, and interactive prototypes in Figma.
  • Audit the current product and identify UI/UX gaps, inconsistencies, confusing interactions, and unnecessary complexity.
  • Work closely with the founder and development team to translate designs into production-ready frontend interfaces.
  • Implement frontend components and screens using React / Next.js.
  • Identify inconsistencies between existing screens and establish reusable UI patterns.
  • Test implemented screens and fix visual, responsive, and interaction-related issues.
  • Continuously improve the product based on user feedback and observed usability problems.

Must have:

  • Good understanding of UI/UX principles.
  • Strong eye for spacing, typography, hierarchy, alignment, and visual consistency.
  • Experience with Figma.
  • Basic-to-good understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Experience with React / Next.js or willingness to work with them.
  • Ability to look at an existing interface and independently identify what is confusing or can be improved.
  • Ability to think about a product from the user’s perspective, rather than only making screens visually attractive.

Pay: Up to ₹1,000.00 per month
