About the Opportunity:

The SENIOR TECHNICAL RECRUITER, AI/ML RESEARCH plays a crucial role in expanding specialized AI research and engineering teams. This position partners closely with AI research and engineering leadership to attract and secure top-tier AI researchers, applied scientists, and engineers in a competitive market. The recruiter contributes strategically to building world-class teams that advance the organization’s AI capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with executives, research leadership, and hiring managers to define and execute hiring strategies
• Lead full-cycle recruiting for specialized AI talent including researchers, research engineers, applied scientists, and ML systems engineers
• Build and maintain relationships with AI talent across academia, open-source communities, research labs, and industry networks
• Drive excellent candidate experiences from engagement to offer closure, emphasizing relationship building and talent cultivation
• Provide market intelligence on AI talent trends, compensation, competitive landscapes, and emerging research organizations
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve recruiting processes and operational excellence
• Design and refine interview processes tailored for research hiring, including technical evaluations and research presentations

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of technical recruiting experience at high-growth technology companies with a focus on AI research and engineering talent
• Experience recruiting from industry and academic pipelines, including familiarity with publications, conferences, and research communities
• Ability to build trusted partnerships with senior technical leaders and influence hiring decisions using data and market insights
• Resourceful and adaptable in fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-growth environments
• Proven capability to design recruiting processes and talent strategies for emerging technical organizations
• Strong execution skills to navigate complex searches and close candidates in competitive talent markets

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• US base salary range: $165,000 to $210,000 plus equity and benefits
