About the Opportunity:

The DATA ENGINEERING SPECIALIST – AI is responsible for building and operating large-scale data systems that support modern AI training and evaluation pipelines. This role combines expertise in data engineering with an understanding of AI workloads to ensure high-quality, efficient data delivery to training jobs. The position significantly contributes to the organization’s ability to support advanced AI model development.

Responsibilities:

• Build and operate petabyte-scale data ingestion, transformation, and delivery systems
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and high-throughput delivery for AI training workloads
• Support diverse data modalities and AI evaluation pipelines
• Collaborate on data infrastructure choices impacting model quality and training efficiency

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of data engineering experience, including support for ML or AI workloads
• Proficiency in Python and at least one JVM or systems programming language
• Experience with data processing frameworks such as Spark, Ray, or Beam
• Hands-on experience with large-scale storage and pipeline systems

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Salary range of $100,000 to $150,000 annually
