The Sage Group is seeking an AI Solutions & API Integration Developer to improve efficiencies for a marketing org. Client has an online storefront where businesses can discover, buy, and deploy third-party software, data products, AI agents, and professional services built for the client’s Cloud Platform.

The Platforms & Devices (P&D) Marketing business at client focuses on driving our first-party hardware brands and product portfolio. As a member of this team, you will help power priority operational and technical initiatives across the client Pixel Ecosystem—including Pixel phones, Pixel Watch, Pixel Buds, and Pixel Tablet (strictly excluding smart home/Nest products). At its core, marketing at client starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional and efficient ways. Our team builds, automates, and optimizes the systems that enable seamless product launches across global markets.

Role Description

As an AI Solutions & API Integration Developer, you will sit within Platforms & Devices Marketing and partner directly with the AI Solutions Lead. You are tasked with architecting, building, automating, and maintaining connected workflow systems that streamline product launch lifecycles. In this role, you will bridge marketing operations and technical automation by connecting critical tools across our client Workspace infrastructure and partner platforms. You will leverage internal client AI tooling and standard APIs—navigating access pathways access for advanced Gemini tooling when required—to transform manual operational processes into automated, resilient workflows.

Responsibilities

* Partner closely with the AI Solutions Lead and Senior Portfolio Program Management to engineer automated end-to-end solutions for marketing operations.

• Program Deck System: Develop and maintain interactive client Slides sidebar intake forms integrated with client Sheets Single Source of Truth (SSOT) databases using Workspace Studio and client Workspace APIs.
• Smartsheet CNB Hub & Through-Line Delta Tracking: Build and manage real-time API integrations connecting Smartsheet Channel Need-By (CNB) Hubs with core internal tracking systems to enable automated Through-Line Delta tracking and schedule divergence alerts.
• Marketing Development Process (MDP) Gate Reviews: Automate approval routing, artifact verification, and status tracking across Marketing Development Process (MDP) gates, spanning from OK2Brief through OK2Launch.
• POR Blast-Radius Impact Workflows & Risk Logs: Build dynamic Plan of Record (POR) change blast-radius tools and risk logging systems that calculate downstream marketing impacts and trigger automated multi-channel notifications.
• Internal AI Tool Deployment: Utilize -accessible AI platforms—including Workspace Studio, NotebookLM, Moma AI, BugAI, and Code Search Chat—while requesting manager/policy approvals via go/gemini-non-fte-access to leverage advanced tools such as Gemini Enterprise for client, Gemini CLI, and AI Studio Preprod.
• Bug Triaging & Code Quality: Implement BugAI for automated issue categorization and queue routing within Buganizer, and utilize Code Review Agent in Critique to maintain codebase standards.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and best practices for all custom scripts, workflow triggers, and API integrations.
• Build, maintain, and enhance operational workflow tools using Python, Google Apps Script, and web development to automate data syncs, approvals, and permissions.
• Systems Modernization & Cloud Migration: Lead the transition of standalone automation scripts into scalable, reliable internal web applications deployed on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run).
• API & Ecosystem Integration: Design and maintain bi-directional REST API integrations connecting Google Workspace tools with project management and database platforms like Smartsheet and Airtable.
• AI Readiness & Data Architecture: Structure, standardize, and govern operational data schemas to ensure team information is clean, reliable, and ready for autonomous AI agent workflows.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
