A world-leading organisation within the Energy & Utilities sector is seeking a talented professional to support the delivery of business-critical applications within a modern cloud-native environment.
The Role
- Design, develop and support scalable backend services using Java.
- Work within a microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Build and support event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
- Participate in design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to Agile delivery and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Need
- Strong commercial Java development experience.
- Hands-on Apache Kafka experience.
- Experience with microservices architectures and cloud-native development.
- Ability to support and optimise production applications.
- Experience working in Agile teams.
- Knowledge of containerisation, CI/CD, and DevOps is a plus.
