About the Opportunity

We are seeking an early-career C++ Software Developer to join a growing technical team working on 5G, next-generation wireless communications, and advanced software development .

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with approximately 1 year of solid, hands-on C++ development experience in a 5G, RAN, wireless, or related environment who is looking to grow their technical skills and work with emerging wireless technologies.

Direct O-RAN experience is not required. O-RAN is trainable for the right candidate. We are primarily looking for someone with a strong C++ foundation, hands-on development experience, and an interest in learning advanced wireless technologies.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, debug, and test software for 5G and next-generation wireless systems
• Write and maintain software primarily using C++ in a Linux environment
• Work with engineers and researchers to develop and test wireless software
• Support software development for 5G/RAN and emerging O-RAN technologies
• Work with wireless testbeds and software-defined radio (SDR) environments
• Troubleshoot software and integration issues
• Participate in laboratory testing, demonstrations, prototypes, and technical evaluations
• Learn and apply O-RAN technologies and architectures
• Collaborate with experienced software, wireless/RF, AI/ML, and systems engineers
• Contribute to technical documentation and project development activities

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 1 year of hands-on C++ software development experience
• Experience developing software in a 5G, RAN, wireless communications, telecommunications, or related environment
• Experience developing, debugging, and testing software
• Familiarity with Linux
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications, or a related technical field
• U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder)
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance, if required
• Strong interest in learning new technologies and working in a hands-on R&D environment
