Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Python or Go programming languages
• Strong understanding of UNIX/Linux systems
• Experience with distributed systems and backend development
• Solid knowledge of SQL and database management
• Familiarity with web services (REST, SOAP) and automation tools
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and performance analysis skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Redis, etcd, or similar caching solutions
• Development with Chef (Ruby), Chef recipes, and configuration management
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS and containerization technologies
• Familiarity with security protocols such as OAuth and system compliance standards

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven track record supporting multiple lines of business in complex enterprise environments

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work onsite three days per week in New York City
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work setting
• Strong communication skills and proactive problem-solving mindset
