Overview

We are seeking a Senior Finance AI & Transformation Analyst to help build the next generation of Finance operations. This role sits within the Finance Change & Transformation function and focuses on modernizing finance processes through AI, automation, and scalable transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong transformation experience with hands-on AI and automation expertise, enabling them to identify opportunities, solve complex business problems, and deliver measurable business impact.

Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in a Manhattan office)

Experience: 5-8 years

Salary: $150k (flexible/based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Finance AI & Automation

• Identify workflows where AI, automation, or agentic solutions can create meaningful business value.
• Prototype, test, and build AI-powered workflows and automations using LLM-based tools and no-code/low-code platforms.
• Translate finance use cases into clear business and technical requirements, including workflows, data, controls, exception handling, human oversight, and success metrics.
• Partner with Finance, Data, Engineering, and Technology teams to design, test, deploy, govern, and continuously improve solutions.

Finance Transformation Program Delivery

• Lead transformation initiatives from problem identification through requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, change management, and impact measurement.
• Diagnose process, system, and control gaps and recommend scalable future-state solutions.
• Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, stakeholder communications, and delivery activities.
• Measure outcomes through improvements in efficiency, accuracy, controls, adoption, and decision-making quality.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Build alignment across Finance, Technology, Data, Compliance, and other business functions.
• Develop business cases, recommendations, training materials, and change adoption strategies.
• Prepare executive-level presentations and updates for senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience leading transformation, operational improvement, or technology-enabled initiatives.
• Hands-on experience building or deploying AI-enabled tools, workflows, automations, or agentic solutions.
• Proven success managing cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation and adoption.
• Strong project management skills, including requirements gathering, roadmap development, stakeholder management, risk management, and change adoption.
• Experience using generative AI and automation tools to design, prototype, and deploy practical business solutions.
• Strong systems-thinking and product-oriented mindset.
• Understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, governance, data quality, privacy, controls, and human oversight.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in ambiguous environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, or other core finance functions.
• Experience leading finance transformation initiatives and working with end-to-end finance data flows.
• Experience in high-growth, fintech, financial services, or regulated environments.
• Finance process optimization and/or finance system implementation experience.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as NetSuite or similar financial systems.
