Senior AI Architect, Semantic Layer & Algorithm Ar

For our client, we are seeking a Senior AI Architect, Semantic Layer & Algorithm Ar to join the team of a leader in the Media space.

This role will shape the technical foundation for enterprise semantic layers, data models, and AI/ML architecture across a complex media environment.

You will help define scalable standards that improve governance, interoperability, and trust in analytics and AI applications.

The position will partner closely with governance, technical, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into architectures that support growth and operational consistency.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the technical architecture for semantic layers and enterprise data models
• Translate governance standards into scalable technical frameworks
• Establish schema design and semantic consistency across the platform
• Design and govern data contract frameworks for trusted data assets
• Collaborate with governance stakeholders to operationalize technical controls
• Define architectural patterns for algorithm interoperability in AI
• Lead architecture discussions balancing business needs and technical feasibility

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture, AI/ML infrastructure, or related fields
• Experience designing enterprise-scale semantic layers and data models
• Strong understanding of lakehouse architectures and data governance principles
• Expertise in architecting machine learning and AI platforms like feature stores
• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into scalable architectures
• Experience establishing technical standards for analytics and AI applications
• Strong communication skills to influence technical leaders and stakeholders
