About the Opportunity
We are seeking Audio Engineers to support an AI training project involving audio and robotic video annotation. You’ll use your expertise in audio quality, recording issues, and sound analysis to create accurate training data for next-generation AI systems.
No prior AI experience is required — your audio expertise and attention to detail are what matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and annotate audio and robotic video data using project guidelines.
- Identify issues such as background noise, clipping, distortion, echo, hum, and dropouts .
- Assess audio quality, clarity, and recording issues .
- Apply accurate labels and provide clear notes and feedback .
- Follow annotation guidelines consistently.
- Support quality control and complete assigned tasks within deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Professional or academic background in audio engineering, audio production, sound editing, or related fields .
- Strong understanding of audio quality and common recording issues .
- Familiarity with audio editing or production tools .
- Excellent attention to detail .
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Production, Music Technology , or a related field.
- Experience with audio QA, editing, annotation, or media review .
- Previous experience with AI training or data annotation .
Compensation
- Competitive compensation of $50–$90/hour.
- Independent contractor engagement.
- Part-time, fully remote work.
