Design Assistant

Job Overview

IHL Home, a fast-growing division of IHL Home, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Design Assistant to support our expanding home product design team. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience alongside a robust and collaborative team, contributing to a wide range of projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with trend research, mood boards, color palettes, and design presentations.
• Prepare, create and update technical specifications.
• Support project management activities by organizing schedules, tracking deadlines, and coordinating with internal teams.
• Help organize samples, fabric swatches, artwork files, and design approvals.
• Track sample developments and assist with communicating revisions to the team.
• Support showroom preparation and buyer presentations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Production teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in textile design, fashion design, graphic design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and contribute ideas.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
