Job Description
A dynamic New York City finance professional seeks a polished, energetic Executive Personal Assistant. The principal works across a global family office, multiple businesses, boards, and leadership roles and needs capable New York-based support across her schedule, home, travel, and day-to-day life.
This is an ideal opportunity for a rising assistant who is organized, stylish, resourceful, and eager to grow. The relationship will begin with direct, hands-on support and may expand as trust is earned. The principal is down-to-earth and respectful of work-life balance; she values proactive follow-through without unnecessary formality.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the principal’s calendar, appointments, reservations, correspondence, and daily logistics
- Handle errands, pickups, drop-offs, cleaners, cobblers, returns, and other practical requests across the city
- Receive packages, share item images when needed, organize returns, and maintain follow-through
- Coordinate itineraries, packing, wardrobe needs, and pre- and post-trip personal logistics
- Work with stylists and vendors for events, appearances, and day-to-day wardrobe needs
- Proactively organize closets, pantries, household supplies, and the Midtown West residence
- Create and polish documents, memos, lists, and presentations using practical AI tools when helpful
- Coordinate smoothly with the daily Housekeeper and gradually build rapport with the husband
- Assist with the care and logistics of two dogs alongside the household team
- Support occasional weekend events or entertaining, offset by a weekday off
Requirements:
- Legally able to work within the United States
- Relevant Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Family Assistant, or comparable support experience
- NYC savvy, fashion forward, and confident sourcing reservations, services, and local solutions
- Highly organized and proactive, with strong judgment, accuracy, and follow-through
- Polished and aesthetically minded, with an eye for organizing information and improving documents
- Tech savvy in a Mac environment and comfortable using practical AI for administrative work
- Discreet, trustworthy, low-ego, and comfortable working informally in a principal’s home
- Warm, energetic, grounded, direct, and not easily flustered
- Genuine dog lover who is comfortable around both an older Husky and a Dachshund
- Flexible and growth-minded, with interest in broader coordination or travel as trust develops
- Comfortable balancing executive support with personal, household, wardrobe, and errand responsibilities
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00/9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with strong respect for after-hours boundaries; occasional weekend event support will be offset with a weekday off.
Location(s): New York City, primarily Hudson Yards / Midtown West; in-person support with possible future travel
Compensation: $135,000 - $175,000 per year, commensurate with experience
Benefits: Health insurance
