Social Media Assistant – TikTok & Instagram - Hybrid (Onsite in London and work from home)

Are you creative, confident with social media, and interested in helping businesses grow on TikTok and Instagram?

We’re looking for a Social Media Assistant to help create, manage and grow engaging social media content for our clients, mainly halal food businesses.

You’ll be helping with:

• Filming content on a phone and camera
• Editing short-form videos using CapCut
• Adding captions, hooks, music and engaging effects
• Finding viral and trending content ideas
• Scheduling and posting videos on TikTok and Instagram
• Monitoring comments, messages and mentions, and responding to help build positive engagement
• Supporting social media campaigns in line with client goals and brand messaging
• Tracking performance such as views, engagement, reach and follower growth
• Preparing simple social media performance reports
• Staying on top of TikTok, Instagram and content trends
• Reaching out to potential new clients
• Helping clients grow their pages and improve engagement
• Writing engaging captions that match each client’s brand and tone

We’re looking for someone who is creative, reliable, motivated, organised and understands social media trends. Experience is helpful, but having a good eye for content and being willing to learn is just as important.

Pay: Mainly commission-based, with opportunities for bonuses as clients grow and more work comes in.

Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Strong interest in social media management, digital marketing, or related fields
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Organised with strong time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Some video editing experience
• Some video experience
