Construction Project Manager

Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project scheduling software, coordinating all phases of construction activities
• Manage project budgets through accurate cost estimation, cost management strategies, and regular financial tracking using HeavyBid or equivalent tools
• Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings, ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and project progression
• Monitor construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and regulatory compliance is maintained at all times
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, or Microsoft Office suite for documentation, reporting, and project tracking
• Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders
• Lead project teams by managing daily operations on-site, providing clear direction, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining high team morale
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control standards are met and work progresses according to schedule

Experience

• Proven experience managing large-scale civil or commercial construction projects with a focus on infrastructure or complex facilities
• Extensive knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements
• Strong background in construction estimating, scheduling (Primavera P6), cost management, and project coordination
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict adherence to deadlines
• Proficiency with industry-standard construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, Civil 3D or similar tools
• Hands-on experience reading blueprints and technical drawings accurately for project execution planning
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Ability to oversee construction site activities ensuring safety protocols are followed consistently
• Prior experience managing complex infrastructure projects or large commercial developments is highly preferred
