Project Manager – Residential Construction (Indianapolis, IN)

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Project Manager to join our Leadership Team.

What You’ll Do

• Own project execution from pre-construction through completion — planning, scheduling, and coordinating trades across both remodeling/renovation (~70% of our work) and service & repair (~30%).
• Supervise job sites for safety, quality, and service, and drive profitability within targeted project costs.
• Manage the phased approval process with clients, including identifying and pricing change orders alongside our Estimating team.
• Hire, evaluate, coach, and develop field technicians.
• Deliver a high level of customer service, including handling difficult conversations with professionalism and care.
• Perform quality control inspections of internal staff and subcontractor partners.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of verifiable construction/technical experience; leadership experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Hands-on trade skills across areas such as demo, framing, insulation, drywall, painting/finishing, trim carpentry, tile, and flooring. Specialty skills (roofing repairs, basic electrical/plumbing, water testing) are a plus.
• Working knowledge of project plans, schedules, budgets, and construction contracts/takeoffs.
• Comfort with technology — PC, smartphone, and project management software (we use Contractor Foreman).
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, on-site role. You should be comfortable:

• Climbing ladders and scaffolding, and working on roofs
• Accessing crawl spaces and attics
• Lifting up to 100 lbs
• Working a full production schedule (generally Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional evenings/weekends as projects require)

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
