About the Opportunity

A leading luxury real estate developer is seeking a Junior Project Manager to join their team and support the construction of a major luxury high-rise residential project in Manhattan .

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional looking to gain meaningful exposure to the developer side of luxury real estate , working closely with ownership, architects, consultants, contractors, and senior project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the construction of a major luxury high-rise residential project from preconstruction through completion.
• Work closely with senior project leadership, ownership, architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
• Assist with project schedules, budgets, contracts, procurement, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to track project progress and resolve outstanding issues.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain clear communication across all project stakeholders.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation.
• Assist with tracking project costs, commitments, invoices, and financial reporting.
• Monitor project milestones and help ensure work remains aligned with the overall development schedule.
• Assist with coordination between design, development, and construction teams.
• Gain exposure to ownership-level decision making and the full real estate development lifecycle.

Ideal Background

• 5+ years of construction experience , with progression into a Project Management or Assistant Project Management role.
• Experience with luxury residential, high-end multifamily, high-rise, or mixed-use construction preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, scheduling, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractor coordination.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple project stakeholders and maintain detailed follow-up.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
